A Writer's Rant

This entitled Silicon Valley dilletante writer posted a video of this lavish marriage proposal and prefaced it this way: "I feel sorry for all you single men out there, having to live up to what this guy just did." So I wrote, "Who declared this a competition? And isn't it a little tacky turning an intimate moment into a viral video production?" She said, "I'm sure all the ladies on this thread would disagree with you." As if it's my job to satisfy all her loser fucking friends? As if it's my job (it sounds like) to live up to all female expectations everywhere? Someday, someone's going to ask me how I wrote all these books, and I'm gonna say, by disappointing as many women as I could. So I unfriended the bitch.
