I really hate books by celebrities. I'm sure some of them are okay - but I'm sure there are a thousand more deserving authors out there whose books would be more than okay.
I was willing to ditch this piss-poor attitude when it came to Craig Ferguson's novel, "Between the Bridge and The River," because I think his ad hoc mononlogues on late night are brilliant. Alas. It read like a seventeen-year-old trying to impress his friends with his awesome vocabulary. I only made it through two chapters.
So once again, I say, Hey! Celebrities! Get off of my cloud. This job calls for a REAL author!
